[Patch] Daily dose of money_get work ;)

Hi,

the more I look into this code and compare it to the standard, the more
seems obvious that we are still not dealing correctly with many corner
cases: the challenge is fixing all of them without performance loss.

Regtested x86-linux, neutral performance-wise. Will commit later today.
