There's also Rogue Wave, and Dietmar's implementation.  And
depending on whether or not you consider it to be the same as the
SGI implementation, there's also STLport.

But I don't think you need to restrict yourself to portable 
implementations.
The Metrowerks library implementation has a complicated header
structure too, for all the reasons that our implementation does.
