fixing inlining warnings

Ok, it is as I expected. Sometimes these are inlined, sometimes not.
When they can't be inlined, it's warned about. 

Thus, removing inline keywords and forcing them out of line is not
advisable. So, that won't be done. I'll just check in the patch to
remove -Winline.
