Hi!

Thanks for the quick answer. I did see it in the FAQ today. However,
I want to create an application that will run on RH2.1 advanced server. Is
the only way possible to compile the c++ library as a static library?

Also, is the problem known only for basic_string, or for all STL
classes? (I get crashes at vector ctor too).

	Thanks a lot,

This is in the FAQ. You'll need to use gcc-3.2.x and above.
