Thoughts on __gnu_cxx

I have the opposite opinion, given recent discussions on how things
like hash_map<> (and friends) are crypling discussions about future
directions of the standard library, I prefer to give extensions names
that make their states non ambiguous.  

(I admit that the fact the above mentionned classes were put in
namespace std adds to the confusion).
