_M_underflow_common missing

I have code from a library here, where the compiled object will reference

std::basic_filebuf<unsigned char, std::char_traits<unsigned
char>>::_M_underflow_common(bool)

Which of cause doesn't exist. Is this a bug in libstdc++ or is the code
buggy (preprocessed code attached)?
