eh_globals.cc compilation errors with -threads under hpux 10.20

[FYI, I backed-up and reviewed earlier messages, that I may not have
 read as closely as I should have.]

There was a recent patch for AIX to allow the output of this line:

Thread model: single

to be based on the command line switches (in this case -threads).

>From your report, I am almost positive that you need a similar patch
on hpux.
