g++-v3/bits/stringfwd.h - inconsistent declaration of char_traits

In stringfwd.h I found the following declarations:

namespace std
{
  template<class _CharT>
    struct char_traits;
 
  template<> class char_traits<char>;
#ifdef _GLIBCPP_USE_WCHAR_T
  template<> class char_traits<wchar_t>;
#endif
...


std::char_traits is a struct and its specializations 
are structs too, not classes.

I know struct and class are interchagbeable keywords, 
but it would be nice to have a consistent code.
