procbuf

Hi,

I just try recompiling one of my apps with gcc 3.0.2 and noticed that
procbuf seems to no longer be part of libstdc++ (actually libio). I
figured it had just been moved to the ext directory since it is a GNU
extension, but was surprised to not find it anywhere. Am I just looking
in the wrong places, or has procbuf been dropped entirely?

If the latter is true, is there a replacement I should know about?
