[OT] requesting advice/help on egcs cvs/snapshots

I never could get the cvs libstdc++ to build with 2.95.2, so I went
for a _few_ cvs pulls of egcs. I've finally got the most recent
cvs libstdc++ working with the egcs-20000501 snapshot (glibc-2.1.3,
binutils-2.9.5.0.41)

what is the trick to building gcc 2.95.2 with the cvs libstdc++
anyway? :)
