approved binutils for CVS gcc on solaris?

I have the last full release, 2.9.1.  I seem to be unable to bootstrap
the compiler (2.95.2 and CVS both) using gld/gas.  During stage1,
gengenrtl segv's.  Today I'll be narrowing it down.

P.S.- No ideas on the web-checkout thingy.  I'll fire up cvsweb later and
      poke through the scripts.
