Heck, I'd agree as well - I suspect a lot of new people get libstdc++-v3
because they have a particular problem that the old lib can't cope with;
and then kill their gcc when trying to compile it and then end up having
to get a new GCC anyway.

Also what with the GCC guys starting to get organised for a 3.0
release it would be really nice to pull them all together.
