Caution on GNU JAXP 1.3 release

I am in the process of incorporating the JAXP 1.3 snapshot release 
[1] into my project, to maintain compatibility with earlier GCJ 
releases. It includes a package gnu.xml.validation.* in which there 
are numerous compilation errors (misnamed and missing imports, 
incorrect type assignments, incorrect variable references).

I see this package is no longer included in the merged classpath CVS, 
so perhaps this is a known issue amongst the developers. In which 
case, this note is just for others who may wish to compile that 
source. Perhaps someone could add a note to the download page?
