Doh! I'm sorry, I read that part of your reply incorrectly.
GUI branch --> GCJ --> Classpath. Got it.

Which wouldn't make sense anyway, since, as you mentioned, GCJ
happens to get the AWT/Swing updates before Classpath anyway.
