Many Failures In libjava Testsuite!

My last reply hopefully mostly answered the question about pthread
wrappers.  You should already
be able to just define GC_THREADS before including gc.h, and thus
get the appropriate platform-dependent wrappers.  I think this is
distinct from the THREAD_LOCAL_ALLOC issues.
