For GCJ cross-compiler, generating code for ARM/Linux combo...

1. How much memory is actually required for libgcj?
   - I read that libgcj.so.3.0.0 occupies about 8MB.
   - I read that a statically link version takes < 2MB.

2. I read that Network and File I/O are unavailable for the
   ARM. Yet one of the mail threads discusses opening a socket
   (successfully) on 127.0.0.1:80. So is there network support
   for GCJ/ARM/Linux applications or not?
