How do I compile libgcj only with debug info?

Having found that I can use use the CygWin Insight debugger
fairly successfully and out of the box, I find that I want
more.

Is there an easy way, starting with Mohans build and CygWin,
that I can build libgcj with debug info?

The idea being that building only libgcj would be easier than
building the entire toolchain: an intermediate step between
just using GCJ and becoming a heavyweight hacker.
