I read: 

"This is illegal code on our part, because we're not allowed to use
invokepsecial on a private method.  We should generate an access
method for Smu.doFoo and use it."

Could someone with the time and the knowledge write a patch for this ? ;-)
I dont know where to start looking to fix this. At least some pointers would be helpful.
