DLL Progress?

  I was wondering if there had been any success as of late on using GCJ
to compile native win32 DLLs with proper exports.  I have read the
archives of the list, but it seems like the topic was dropped back in
April.  I would like to circumvent the sun ActiveX Bridge provided in
jre1.4.2, if possible, allowing the development of Server side COM
objects without requiring clients to have jre1.4.2 installed.
