I'm not sure exactly what you're seeing.

But, yeah, this is an area in flux.  There's a big "solib: URL" patch
still pending that affects this area.  It will eventually go in.

Also on the trunk -fno-assume-compiled works a bit better than it does
in 3.3; this can be useful for compiling Java code in a
classloader-friendly way.  Long term we're going to use the
-findirect-dispatch approach.
