top-level 'make check' doesn't run Java tests

Is this a known problem? This is in the trunk, and I configured thus:

/home/bothner/GNU/gcc/configure  --prefix=/home/bothner/GNU/install-gcc
--enable-languages=c++,java --enable-threads
--with-gcc-version-trigger=/home/bothner/GNU/gcc/gcc/version.c

After a make boostrap, I did a top-level 'make check'.
It successfully runs the gcc tests, the g++ tests, and the
libstdc++-v3 tests.  I then get:

                 === libstdc++-v3 Summary ===

# of expected passes            419
# of unexpected failures        1
# of unexpected successes       1
# of expected failures          26
