Build-Breaking MingW 3.3 Stuff

I'm listening. I will test this and will let you know the results sometime
later today before the freeze.

Thank you for being proactive about the MingW changes.

I will need to apply my cross-configury patch on top of the CVS
snapshot, because otherwise I can't build. All of the other patches
on my "outstanding" list have been applied. Other than my configury
patch, I'll use the pristine CVS 3.3 sources
