Getting 3.3 out the door

There still the high priority interpreter bug.  I have a partial fix
but can't seem to find the time to finish it.  One option would be to
disable the direct-threaded interpreter.  Another would be to write a
simpler fix.  And finally we could just ignore the problem and hope it
works out.

Also there is a big patch backlog.  Some of the patches are clearly
3.4 material, but some Windows patches should go in 3.3.  Again, I
haven't found time to go through the patches in about 2 months :-(
