Hi,

I have a few gcj-newbie questions:

I understand gcj includes an interpreter for using
.class files that are not already compiled;

1) how does this interact with compiled code? what
   have I to do in my code to be able to use it?
2) how do I produce compiled code linked against such
   java libraries for a mixed-mode application?

It seems gcj is not equally supported on all platforms;

3) what is the status of the win32 target
4) and the win32 host?

I would like to have a native win32 gui for a program
of mine written in java, using swt+gcj for the win32
launcher+gui part and pure java for the rest of the
application.

Considering the actual state of gcj, is this just a mere
dream or can I dig further in this promising direction?
