The GCC release manager thinks 3.1 is going out this weekend. I just
wanted to thank everyone who hacked on this release. Especially Tom for
the thankless job of tracking status so carefully.
3.1 is a great improvement over 3.0 in terms of usability, portability
and performance:
- 3.1 can build and run many free java projects (freenet, xalan, etc)
- 15 supported platforms - including an embedded and win32(!)
- many performance improvements (both gcj specific and GCC generic)
So, thanks everyone...
