gcc-3.1 libcj issues

Hi Tom,

I saw the status page about java and branch 3.1, here I found the PPC
Darwin with my name and the status ok.

So I took the opportunity to co a clean 3.1 branch and do a bootstrap.

Well, there are three issues I have to tweak beside that the build has to
go on on UFS.

1. I have to tweak gcc/gcc/ginclude/stddef.h

2. additional this one gcc/libstdc++-v3/include/c_std/std_cctype.h

3. I have to tweak the libtool file after being generated. Here I have to
modify the AR_FLAGS from 'cu' to 'qc' otherwise some files get
overwritten in the archive.

The first two I think I have to report to gcc since they prevent me to
build the libstdc++-v3, the third is still an issue on the trunk and on
the branch.

Do you think they are worth reporting?
