Ordinarily the CNI method would have no underscores.
So it would be JvCreateJavaVM.

Good question.  The general idea is to have a CNI function be
similar to the corresponding JNI function.

Yes.

Note that gij will probably need to duplicate some of the processing
in order to have --help and --version continue to work.
