Hey, if any of you are interested in watching XWT unfold, it has a
mailing list now (so that I don't have to waste bandwidth on
java@gcc.gnu.org):

Only I can post to the list and it gets about one message a week.

Also, a draft of the XWT Reference has been released; it's all you
need (beside a text editor and zip archiver) to write your own XWT
applications.
