Native compilation article

I have made performance comparisions of many runtime
systems including GCJ:

I used GCC 2.95.2 in the past evaluations, but a recent
CVS version (20020115) was evaluated this time.
The peak performance of GCJ seems to be comparable to IBM's and Sun's.
