No, the FAQ is out of date :-(.

Hmm, the status page doesn't mention the interpreter (that is what gij
is -- if you're actually asking about the compiler then that page is
more useful).
The interpreter currently works on x86, alpha, PPC, s390, IA-64, and
SH.

Do you mean Windows hosted? I don't think anybody has done that with
gcj yet. The Windows support in general is still in flux.
I haven't built a PPC cross. However, a few cross configurations are
known to work (see status page). PPC probably wouldn't be too hard to
get working.
