This would be nice.  I thought there was a PR on this?  Maybe it is
just on my to-do list.

Last time I looked, the gcc `--help' mechanism was pretty ugly.
Adding something like this means doing work on the main gcc itself;
unfortunately it isn't very self-contained.

I do agree we want it.  It hasn't been high priority since it is more
work than it "should" be...
