The Java support in the 2.95 series is very old, and is quite buggy. If
possible, I reccommend using the prerelease code from the gcc 3.0 branch, which
is currently only available through cvs:

cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@gcc.gnu.org:/cvs/gcc login
    (password is ``anoncvs'')
cvs -z9 -d :pserver:anoncvs@gcc.gnu.org:/cvs/gcc co -r gcc-3_0-branch gcc
