CVS read access broken???

Me neither.  But:

[aph@sourceware ~]$ uptime
  8:54am  up 18 days, 20:07,  2 users,  load average: 17.68, 13.82, 8.37

It's working very hard.  However, my "cvs login" as anoncvs still
hasn't returned, so someting is Bad.
