gcj and awt

I'd be willing to test awt for compiling to a win32 executable.
It would save some time if I could just grab a copy of gcc/gcj
already built for win32.
And since I'm just catching up with gcj in general, I assume
that gcj compiles down to a real stand-alone executable,
i.e. no extra jre/jvm/dll garbage!?
