Well, first a sanity check: do you effectively compile
LogWriter$Agent.class and LogWriter$1.class? with `$' in file names,
it's easy if you're using a script or a makefile to compile
LogWriter.class twice where you thought you would compile
LogWriter.class and LogWriter$Agent.class:
apbianco@kazmo[~/tmp]: ls -l LogWriter$Agent.class
-rw-rw-r-- 1 apbianco apbianco 0 Sep 29 11:27 LogWriter.class
apbianco@kazmo[~/tmp]: ls -l LogWriter\$Agent.class
-rw-rw-r-- 1 apbianco apbianco 0 Sep 29 11:27 LogWriter$Agent.class
It's a classic but it will bite everyone at some point.
Then, do you effectively include LogWriter$Agent.o and LogWriter$1.o
in your link command line?
What kind of platform are you using?
./A
