ok in fear of sounding like a newbie I am going to 
try to word my question carefully:
I am trying to run gcj.
when I run it to compile a java file (gcj 
something.java)
I get the error gcj: libgcj.spec: No such file or 
directory.
I read the FAQ wich was very informative but on 
this particular error it said:
"Make sure you configure both libgcj and gcj with 
the same "--prefix" directory"
this information would be great and useful if I 
knew what it was talking about ... 
can anyone help me out I would appreciate it 
..
