Thanks for all that support!

I just wish i would be capable of giving the same amount to my users ;)

If interested, after some link guessing ... the correct link is:
http://www.cs.bris.ac.uk/~jb7216/libgcj/libkernel32.a.tar.bz2
but however it doesn't function anyway...

So libgjc for win32 is not worked on? *sigh* I think i mismatched
libgjc-win32 with normal libgjc, since this seems to be a very active project ;)

I've been trying into native compiling for two weeks now, and didn't
achive a thing, since my project does use a lot of functions:
awt, multi-threading, network and packages

However i kept it tidy to jdk 1.1, to get any chance for native compiling.
(maybe if anybody interrested www.geocities.com/umelange/index.html)

Problem is standard-user is ummm to stupid to run a jdk correctly, with
the hotspot VM, the project isn't even playable now, but I'm getting a lot of
question regarding this now that I've dropped the .exe

Until now i used jexegen from microsoft as wrapper for their VM. Making it
easy startable. Well everybody told me "DON'T DO THIS. Do not do anything
with ms vm." I didn't listen, so i had to see myself, as soon the stuff grew
bigger: memory page errors, changes in files opened in readonly mode only,
etc....

So I'm currently looking around a lot for another way, to get an exe (and
maybe linux elf) with equivaltent speed of the hotspot VM. And badly I don't
have $4000 to spent i.e. for jove, since this a GPL project ;(

I played around with TOBA a lot, but it just didn't compile, and since
this project is also dead....

I tried the test version of bulletTrain, and wasn't really convinced,
since it still needs a wrapper .exe

I've extra bought Visual Cafè already, it's native compiler runs far
slower then hotspot VM, and the garbadge collector isn't configureable and is set
to a far to low memory limit by default ;(

I tried Excelsior, was also non-usefull

Harrisa just supports jdk 1.0.2, hmmm that's a little far back...

Supercede link is dead...

TowerJ is pay-soft and still non AWT
same for TurboJ

*sigh*

------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh, I just recognized this isn't a question so far %o)

So, any suggestions how i can do a native compile? for windows?
I'm rather on end of wisdom....

Main problem is, that this is a game, and game users are "different" than
normal ones....
