No, it means that Kaffe is a completely different project
and Kaffe classes (of whatever age) cannot be used with Gcj.
(There have been some experiements with a modified Gcj used
with Kaffe, but that is not supported by Gcj.)  You need to
get and install libgcj.  Please read the instructions on the web site.

It's like trying to link KDE libraries with a Gnome application;
it doesn't work and was never meant to work.
