It finally works!!!

To sum up, I successfully compiled the following for Solaris 2.7:
- gcc 2.95.2 (+ Bryce's patch + the who patches from the messages above)
- libgcj 2000-03-02 (+ Bryce's libgcj patch)

I used this combo to compile a fairly large java program and it runs.
