Actually, that didn't come up at all.
It's more that, by requiring copyright assignment, Cygnus is treated
specially compared to other companies working on gcc.

Note that libgcj is a GNU package now, however.  I'm not sure I
understand how we can be a GNU package but not be integrated into gcc
(another GNU package), but there you have it.
