Ah, yes.  That is a useful tip.

I've also just set up nightly source snapshots.  The first ones are
already there:

     ftp://sourceware.cygnus.com/pub/java/snapshot/

Cvs should be the mechanism of choice for most people, but some folks
are unable to use it.
