Yeah.  Actually CNI can call interpreted code provided the call is via
a vtable and the interpreted class is derived from a CNI class.  The
only thing that doesn't work is CNI instantiating an interpreted
class, calling a static method, or accessing a field -- since these
require a symbol.

It is fine.  Honestly I was asking somewhat lazily, I thought perhaps
there would be a problem if the exception was unexpectedly filtered.
But the comments about JNI methods make it clear that debuggers can't
really rely on this.
