Not quite true, we do care.  Tom being the maintainer may care slightly 
more, but he also has somewhat of an obligation to improve all aspects 
of libgcj.  I am slightly reluctant to commit code that I cannot test, 
but I suppose that is not a good excuse.

If you have that many patches, and plan on contributing more, perhaps 
you should have commit rights so that you can commit them yourself.  We 
really do want people that are working on the Win32 port to contribute 
more.  However there are (and rightly so in my opinion) some low hurdles 
you have jump over in order to get svn write access.
