Thanks for reminding me.  I have seen this patch, and I am minded to
commit it, but I haven't had time to test it.

Be aware of a couple of things:

1.  This Java langauge front-end is due to die at the next major gcj
    release; there is ongoing work on its successor at
    svn+ssh://gcc.gnu.org/svn/gcc/branches/gcj-eclipse.

2.  This patch of yours is small enough for me to accept as is, but
    anything more will require a copyright assignment.
