I don't think we're going to split libgcj into smaller libs, at least 
not at this stage. The library split on gui-branch is just a temporary 
solution to work around the unacceptable incremental rebuild times (ie 
make one small change to libgcj and it takes 2 mins + to relink).

The real solution is going to be to fix our build system so that the 
relinking time is much faster.

I think the simplicity of having a single library outweighs the 
dependency issues. However, we may want to revisit this issue later when 
we have the BC-ABI.
