I started to throw together a patch for the other classes, but then I
started having doubts: when libgcj eventually gets localized, this string
constant duplication will no longer be an issue, and having the exception
text in a class member variable which should then be removed will
complicate any automation of this process.

Shall we both count to three, bang our heads against the wall really
hard, and then forget that this conversation ever happened?

(I still think you could have used a helper method, though. One, two,
three, BANG.)
