Sure, that's fine (as long as I may take care of broken links and
such, and in the worst case, such as this, remove "broken" entries).

Full agreed. I'm just extra careful when updating /java web pages
because I'm afraid of stepping on someones toes; on the other hand
http://gcc.gnu.org/java/status.html
still refers to GCC 3.2, and
http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-3.3/gcj-status.html
refers to GCC 3.3 as something in the future, so I'm not sure whether
I shouldn't try to help a bit more there?
