Probably no one here knows.  The RMI code is basically a straight
import from Transvirtual.

Given that this fixes the test case, I think that makes it ok to go
in.  Can you get it into Classpath at the same time?

Probably we should contact the kaffe guys to see if they have any RMI
improvements.
