3.3 is fine (I already told you it was). And as for 3.4, it's hosed for MingW
in many, many more ways than this, so I'm not shocked at all that some
cleanup needs to be done. I guess it's par for the course since we're at
the low end of the food chain :)

If you're willing to take this risk, then so am I. I admire you for sticking
your neck out for us. If it weren't for you committing those final patches,
3.3 wouldn't even build on MingW.
