The implementation is far from working in CVS. I have to submit some 
more patches soon. Currently I rewrite java.io.FileInputStream to use 
java.nio.FileChannel. I think we have testcases for java.io in Mauve. 
Unfortunately make check doesnt do the Mauve tests here. Can you help 
me with this ?

With the news item we should at least wait until some examples work 
from a fresh unpatched CVS checkout. ;-)
